Vogelbescherming Nederland wanted to connect people with nature in unexpected places. Winning Ocean Outdoor’s Digital Creative Competition, they envisioned an interactive campaign where birds appear in urban life, making people aware of the species that share their surroundings. They partnered with us to make it happen.

Bringing Birds to Life

Using the Interactive Platform we built for Ocean Outdoor, we created an engaging experience where birds followed people on massive DOOH screens in shopping malls across the Netherlands. The challenge was to ensure a seamless and natural integration into different environments, adapting to varied screen layouts and pedestrian flows.

Shoppers saw their reflection on giant screens—only to realize birds were playfully tracking their movements. This brief but captivating moment drew attention before transitioning into an awareness message for Vogelbescherming Nederland. The result was a visually striking and immersive experience that made city-goers pause, interact, and take notice of the birds that share their surroundings.
