For the launch of De Oost in the Netherlands, Prime Video planned to place posters in abris across the country.
Their creative partner Artishock envisioned something more... an interactive layer that would surprise passersby and draw them
into the world of the film. That’s when they brought us in.

From Poster to Portal: The WebAR Experience

We built a WebAR experience triggered by a QR code on each poster.

Thanks to 8th Wall technology, the interaction was effortless.
A quick scan of the QR code with their phone camera turned the static poster into a screen, where the movie trailer played right on it. This seamless transformation draw viewers into the film’s atmosphere in a way that felt fresh and immediate.

By merging physical and digital worlds without requiring an app, we sparked surprise and engagement. Audiences didn’t just see a poster—they discovered an experience. The campaign showed how WebAR can amplify traditional media, making it dynamic, interactive, and memorable.
